We are back for a 2nd season for under 12 competitive soccer. The coaching staff of the SYAA U12 Gunners would like to invite you to our try-outs which are listed below at the SYAA Sports Complex. Last season we came in 4th place in USA Division 3 which is great for our first season of being in competitive.
A few things the coaches would like to let know is that these are try-outs. Not everyone will make the team but surely kids from last season would be looked at more then new kids. We are putting together the best competitive team as possible so please don’t be upset with the decision of the coaches. We do look forward to having a great season like we did last year with great players and even better parents.

Thursday, June 3rd 6:00-7:30pm
Saturday, June 5th 9:00-10:30am
Reminder to all Players/Parents from last season. All past players that want to be on this seasons team MUST show up to at least one date of the tryouts in order to be eligible for the team. If for whatever reason you can not make it please contact one of the coaches and let us know. Thanks everyone and I can’t wait to get this season started.

The coaching staff from the SYAA Gunners would like to thank all the parents that made this past weekend possible. We had a great weekend at the tournament and the boys had fun even if we didn’t win. They played hard and did very well against the teams we had to face. We look forward to going back next year.

We got our schedule for the Disney Tournament so everyone can plan accordingly with there friends and family.
* Daily admission: $13.50 (ages 10 & older) $10.00 (ages 3-9)
* Weekend admission: $27.00 (ages 9 & older) $20.00 (ages 3-9)
Kids on the team DO NOT have to pay this is for spectators only.

SYAA Gunners are doing a fundraiser Jan 23rd at Joto’s Pizza (all 4 locations). All day at any Joto’s location on Jan 23rd they are going to give us 15% of any order if you bring in a flyer. The schedules are completely done and can be located here or click Schedule on the right. Monday Nov 2nd we will have folders for the parents that will include maps to all fields, snack schedule, a printed copy of the game schedule and a list of all team members with phones numbers. We do request you arrive to the game at least an hour before so we can start stretching and warming up. If you have any problems getting to a game or practice on time please feel free to ask someone. Schedules are out, we don’t have times but we do have dates and where they are. We will have 12 regular season games this year 6 home and 6 away. What we have so far is posted in the schedule section so plan accordingly with other events your families might have and remember if you have a problem getting your child to a practice or game feel free to call one of the coaches to make arrangements.

Practice is Monday’s and Wednesday’s 6-7:30 at the SYAA sports complex on the rotary field. We are in need of a few more players for the 09-10 season so if you would like your child to come out for a tryout feel free to give Coach Curtis a call to setup a time for them to come out.
